WHAT: Youth Workshop Callback and On Set

WHO: Actors ages 9-14 years old

In this Mighty Tripod Youth Workshop, actors will be sent a scene a week before class. Actors should come memorized and ready to dive into a “CALLBACK” and then the FILMING of the scene. Actors will go through the callback/audition simulation, we will take a break and then I will pair actors up to FILM the scenes. As a teaching and working artist, I think it is very important that young actors know the difference between the AUDITION process and the ON SET process. This workshop will give actors a hands-on experience of both.
Taught by Angela DiMarco, Director of the Youth Division at Mighty Tripod Acting Studio. Parents are encouraged to stay and watch, to take notes or just to see how their son or daughter shines on screen. Please bring a SNACK, WATER BOTTLE and a SDHC memory card. This will allow actors to go home with their footage to review.
