Mighty Tripod Acting Studio is excited to offer a Monologue Youth Workshop on NOVEMBER 2nd
Actors should always have monologues ready. You never know when you might be asked “do you have anything else?” Also, Cast Iron Studios has Meals for Monologues next month and TPS generals are right around the corner!
In this workshop, Angela will work with the actors, helping them sculpt each monologue. Actors will be asked to come to class with TWO contrasting monologues. They each should only be 90 seconds in length. This workshop will help these young actors perfect their comedic and dramatic monologues. The first half of class will focus on one of the pieces, actors will get a break and then the second half will focus on the second piece. All monologues will be filmed on the actor’s SD memory card.

WHAT: Monologue Youth Workshop
WHEN: Wednesday November 2nd at 6pm-9pm
WHERE: Mighty Tripod Acting Studio in the TTA Studios building (300 south Bennett Street, 98108)
WHY: To help actors perfect their monologues. It is always good to have a LEAST one comedic and one dramatic monologue in your actor tool belt. There are several events coming up that ask actors to perform monologues.
BRING: TWO memorized contrasting monologues (comedy and drama). They can be from Theatre or Film. A SD HD memory card (see picture below), so actors can take home their footage. Water and a snack, since we will have a short break between monologues.
