All workshops begin with a vocal and physical warm up, so please come “ready to move!” In this workshop we will be focusing on IMPROV. Meaning, there will be no scripts to prepare. In our market, young actors are constantly being asked to improvise during auditions. Sometimes they are provided with very detailed instructions, and at other times, are simply asked to talk about themselves; Auditions are sometimes a solo affair, but can also happen in groups. In this workshop, we will cover all these bases to prepare students for many types of these auditions.
- All actors will work in this workshop.
- Please bring a snack for your student.
- Please bring a camera flash card (HDSC) so we can send you home with class footage.
- Parents are welcome to stay and observe.
