Is Camera 1 for you?

You will be working in front of the camera each week!

If you are new to the on-camera acting world, or are transitioning from the stage to the screen, then this course is built for you. Taught by Mighty Tripod Acting Studio founders, Angela DiMarco and David S. Hogan (both working actors in the PNW market), this course will give you all the tools you need to successful prepare and perform an on-camera audition.

Camera 1 will also teach you about the business of the on-camera business, answering questions like, “What makes a great headshot?” “How do I land a reputable talent agent?” “Where do I find local auditions?” and much more.

We have been teaching this course for 10 years – adapting, changing, and growing along the way – and we look forward to each and every new class of students who join us at the studio for Camera 1.

Angela and David founded Mighty Tripod in 2012. The production wing creates narrative films, and the acting studio teaches the art and craft of on-camera acting to students of all ages and experience levels at our Seattle studio and online. And, of course, we also teach the business of the business, which is a point of emphasis in Camera 1.
