Youth and Teen training at Mighty Tripod Acting Studio is back! During these past few years, we have shifted our youth and teen training online, but we are back in the studio with small groups, and we know that this kind of training and experience is vital for young actors. There is something unique and inspiring to be in the classroom with likeminded people, and students learn so much from watching others, which is much more challenging in a virtual workshop.

All of our classes, no matter what the age of the student, are nurturing and positive environments when actors can feel safe and supported.

Workshop Goals

• Slating for the camera – learn or improve upon the basics.
• “Tell us a story about you” auditions – We will teach you how to get better at this kind of audition!
• Prep 101: We will teach you how to breakdown a commercial script so your choices stand out in an audition.
• Performance: All students will perform in front of the camera. Learn how to deal with and overcome nervousness when performing in front of people.
• Review: All students will be sent performance clips for review, so the learning continues after class.

The auditioning scene is a bit slow this time of year, but we anticipate a busy year of auditioning for actors of all ages. This is a perfect time to practice, because when the opportunities coming knocking, you’ll want to be ready.
