“I am so grateful for Mighty Tripod’s Marketing workshop – I finally have a decently angled full body shot as well as a professionally shot scene that I can use for future submissions – a necessity for any actor’s toolbox!
Added bonus – I got to enjoy some fantastic performances by other attendees, all while listening and learning from David Hogan’s insightful and brilliant coaching throughout. I highly recommend this incredibly valuable workshop – fun & super affordable! Thank you, David!!”

“This marketing workshop was extremely helpful in helping me build my audition inventory. Having some terrific, professional full body slate options will definitely save me time and anxiety going forward!
In addition, filming a short scene that quickly displays my talent is essential in today’s fast-moving market. I already have a few more scenes chosen to do in the future! More please!!”

You need video clips to be competitive in today’s acting world, but getting your hands on scenes from produced work can be challenging. Another huge challenge for actors – The Full Body Slate!
In this workshop, you will get to connect with other actors, work on your to-be-taped material with other actors (and David), then tape both your full-body slate and video clip in Mighty Tripod’s Taping Studio.
You will just need to bring in a 60-90 second scene from film/TV. Find a character you want to portray in a dynamic scene, and come tape it with Mighty Tripod. Please select material that is 90 seconds or less (edit your scripts as needed).
This workshop is appropriate for actors age 13+. If you are a younger actor, please contact David.
- Tape your full body slate, professionally.
- Tape your 60-90 second acting scene, professionally.
- Join us, have fun, and set yourself up for success with new marketing materials.
- David will deliver your videos within a week of the workshop start date.
If you are only available for part of the session, this workshop will still work for you. Just let me know if you have any time restrictions, and we will make it work.
To participate in this workshop, you will need to find a 60 – 90 second scene from film/TV that inspires you. Something that includes a role that you want to play – something that you think you can play well! You should probably have at least 50% of the dialogue in the scene, but that’s a soft rule.
If you would rather record a monologue, that’s okay, but we think a recorded scene (kinda like a self-tape) will show you off better, as we will get to see you listening – acting AND reacting.
If you have any questions, please reach out to David before you purchase your ticket.
