Who should take this workshop?
This workshop is for actors 18+ who want to practice auditioning with commercial copy. This is a Level 1 course for beginners, but if you don’t have any experience and want to learn more about how to shine in your slate, and make great choices with a commercial script, then please join us. We will provide plenty of options when it comes to materials/scripts, so everyone will be challenged (and supported) appropriately.
Our workshops and seminars are one-day events that provide single subject training between our full courses. Class sizes for workshops are intentionally small (this workshop will cap at 8 students), so everyone can experience practice and redirection without feeling rushed.
In this session, scripts will be made available before the start date of the workshop, and actors are expected to come to the session ready to perform (we are simulating the audition process, after all). During the workshop we will tape the work, review the work, and re-tape the work after notes have been given.
