Camera 2 is a Level I course for actors age 14+ who have some training and/or experience. If you have taken Camera 1 with us, this will be a great fit for you. If you have taken an intro type acting class elsewhere, this will also be a good course for you to consider. As always, if you have any questions for us, please call or text. Learn How to Analyze a Script & Develop a Character
Building on lessons learned in Camera 1, this course will teach you more about breaking down scripts so you can make bold and appropriate performance choices. This course will put students on their feet and into partnership with classmates. We will work with short scripts, and teach you how to create truthful and emotional moments with your scene partners.
Class exercises will help students break though self-consciousness barriers, creating more comfort in front of each other, and in front of the camera.
Camera 2, like all of our courses with scene work, are limited to an enrollment of 8, and everyone will get a chance to work in each session.

Week 1: Lecture, Analysis, Practice with Partners
Week 2: Character Development and Character Work
Week 3: Dressing the Part/Playing the Role: Scene 1 Performances
Week 4: Scene 2 Assigned, Scene 2 Analyzed & Staged
Week 5: Scene 2 Performed with Multiple Camera Angles
