Monologue Month!
Actors should always have at least two monologues ready to go: One comic and one dramatic. This is especially true for younger actors, who will often be asked to bring in a monologue. They need monologues which are age appropriate, a character they connect to, and something they can really bring to life. You never know when a casting director, producer, director, or agent will ask you “do you have something else?”… Don’t be the actor who doesn’t.
This workshop will focus on helping actors prepare monologues and make them more than just one person saying lines.
WHAT: April Youth Monologue Workshop ($60 all sales are final)
WHEN: Sunday April 28th 12pm-2pm
WHO: Actors 8-12 years old
WHY: To prepare two monologues to use for auditions on stage and screen.
- Actors are asked to bring in one 2 minute monologue of their choosing.
I will be giving each actor a NEW monologue to work on as well.
Monologues will be filmed in class so actors can review footage at home.
