This class offers a well rounded curriculum, giving students comfort and confidence in front of the camera, and setting them up for success in multiple venues (film, TV, commercials). This class will make sure each actor knows the industry standards for on-camera auditioning and how to bring their performances to a professional and competitive standard.
During the course, we will also look at the business of the acting business, covering things like: local talent agents (and how to submit for representation, if desired), actor headshots, resumes, casting directors, where to find auditions, and more. This is a great course for students new to acting in general, those new to on-camera acting specifically, and actors who have some experience, but are looking to take their craft deeper.
Auditions are one of the most important parts of the actor’s job, and this class will prepare them for the ever-changing industry.
Students will work in every class, and their work is recorded and sent to them.
