Who is this Workshop Built For?
The Art of the Audition, The Business of the Art is a workshop for actors age 16+, of any level.
You will probably have more success in the workshop if you have some acting experience or training, but if you are brand new to the business, Paul will meet you where you are in your craft, and provide feedback and guidance based on your experience.
The first half of the event is seminar style and full of information and insights to help you get ahead – bring something to take notes with, like a notepad and pencil/pen.
The second have of the event is a workshop, where you will perform in front of Paul and improve your audition technique.

We have known Paul Weber for years, and he has roots in the Pacific Northwest. Last year’s workshop sold out very quickly, and we are absolutely thrilled to have Paul back as a guest of our studio for The Art of the Audition, The Business of the Art.

About Paul Weber
Not unlike many casting directors, I started my professional life in the industry as an actor, first on stage, professionally, and then in Television and Film. Those experiences have informed how I approach my work as a casting director, teacher and audition coach.
It is with 20 years in the casting profession, working with most of the major studios and networks on numerous television series and features, most recently with MGM as in house casting director and executive, that I seek to share my insights, experiences and unique knowledge of the acting and casting professional so that I can help actors in their journey to fully realize the great potential that is within the grasp of any true aspiring artist.
