Camera 2 is a six-week class for actors ages 16+ who already have a little training. If you’ve taken Camera 1 with us, this is the natural next step. If you’ve done an intro acting class (or something similar) somewhere else, Camera 2 could also be a great fit.
Not sure? Totally fine. Call or text us anytime — we’re always happy to talk things through and help you figure out what makes the most sense for you.
Because we do partner work every week, we ask that actors plan to attend all class sessions. Of course, if you’re sick or there’s an emergency, we understand. But if you already know you’ll miss classes due to scheduling conflicts, it’s better to wait for the next Camera 2 session.
Sales Launch 02/09. Early Bird Prices for One Week Only.
Early Bird Prices are the best way to save, but if you miss the window and you have taken a multi-week course with us previously, contact Angela for your Coupon Code. The Early Bird Discount cannot be combined with a Coupon Code.
Learn How to Study a Script & Develop a Character
Building on the tools introduced in Camera 1, this course goes deeper into script analysis and scene work, helping actors make bold, specific, and appropriate choices. Actors will be on their feet regularly, working in partnered scenes and applying technique in a practical, supportive environment.
Throughout the course, students work on multiple scripts and focus on creating truthful, emotionally grounded moments with their scene partners. Exercises are designed to reduce self-consciousness and build comfort performing both in front of an audience and on camera.
Like all of our scene-based classes, Camera 2 is limited to eight students. This ensures everyone gets consistent time to work each week and focused, individualized feedback.
Filming takes place during Week 3 and Week 6. Recorded clips are provided for review, reflection, and continued learning. Please note that classroom footage is for educational purposes only and is not intended for demo reels.
This session of Camera 2 meets on Mondays evenings, starting March 09, 2026.

David S. Hogan & Angela DiMarco
Mighty Tripod Acting Studio was founded in 2012 by David S. Hogan and Angela DiMarco, working actors actively producing, directing, casting, and performing in the Pacific Northwest.
Angela began her career as a child actor, securing her first agent at age eight and booking her first feature film at ten. She has since built a long-standing professional career, with over 100 credits on IMDb, and continues to work consistently on stage and on screen.
David’s path to acting was less direct. While studying at Seattle University, he began as a singer in the university choir before performing in his first musical. This led to years of classical and Shakespearean training and performance, eventually resulting—over a decade later—in signing with his first Seattle-based talent agent. His journey informs his approach as an educator: practical, patient, and rooted in real-world experience.
