Welcome to Weekend Training
Angela and I are trying something new in March (though in this session David will be the only instructor as Angela is in performance with Book-It Repertory Theatre – you should go see her show!). We are considering moving to weekend instruction instead of weeknight training as a model for 2022 and beyond, and this advanced scene study course is our first go with a 5-week, weekends-only schedule. If you have trained with us, taking at least 3 classes, then you are probably a good fit for this course. If you’re uncertain about whether or not you are “Advanced,” please reach out to David with a quick Email, text, or call.
- Level III Course (prerequisite: Level II/Intermediate training)
- COVID Vaccination Required
- March 20 – April 17 (5 classes), 1pm – 4pm
- Small class size : Max 8, minimum 6
- Prerequisite: Instructor approval (this class is built for Mighty Tripod’s advanced actors)
- Students will work in each class, and scenes are filmed for student review

What makes it advanced?
This course is designed for actors who have on-camera experience and training. If you have taken Camera 3 previously, or have taken at least 3 classes with us, then this course will probably be a good fit for you.
In this course, you will be expected to work hard and connect with your scene partner (virtually) between classes for rehearsal. The selected scenes will be challenging – either emotionally or technically – and David will challenge you to go beyond your comfort zone to experience growth and breakthroughs.
