She then went on to study Commedia Dell’Arte\, improv\, and soon started teaching others. Since then\, she has become a full-time teaching and performing artist in Los Angeles and the NW. Angela not only has a passion for performing but also for working with children. Having been a child actor\, Angela enjoys helping guide young artists on their creative journey. She has taught and volunteered at out-reach programs for at-risk teens. When she is not teaching or on screen\, Angela performs with the Seattle Repertory\, Village Theatre\, Intiman\, Seattle Public Theater and more. DESCRIPTION:AGES: 16 years +.\nREGISTER: At the bottom of this page.\nDATES: Tuesday\, February 20 – March 27. 5 week course. NOTE: We meet 5 times over a 6 week period. No class Tuesday\, March 6.\nMAX ENROLLMENT: 12 Students.\nThis course is for students who have taken Camera 1\, and for those with some experience in front of the camera. While Camera 1 covered auditioning\, Camera 2 will focus on increasing your callback rate\, refining your script analysis skills\, teaching on-camera techniques\, and more. \nDuring the 6 weeks\, students will work on challenging scenes (audition simulation and partner work)\, and some commercial/corporate copy. Camera 2 will also focus on video-submissions (which are becoming an industry standard). Self-taped videos will be reviewed\, and we will give feedback to each student\, teaching them how to make professional looking videos\, filled with strong acting choices. \nAs always\, we send students home with video footage (on a flash card)\, so they can watch\, learn and grow. Cameras are used in every class\, and students receive access to all footage filmed.*  *Please bring a 8GB Class 10 SDHC flash memory card to class. DESCRIPTION:It’s time to get MIGHTY! We will be working on “scary” scenes from film (thriller\, horror and drama). Actors will be challenged to be scared\, angry\, surprised and eerie. Scenes will go out a week in advance\, so actors can come in MEMORIZED. We will do audition simulation first and then (after a break) do the scenes with partners! October is right around the corner and so is the Horror 48 Hour Film Festival. DESCRIPTION:You asked and I deliver! This July Youth workshop with also be for the MIGHTY PARENTS! That’s right! We will spend the first half of class (hour and a half) with the actors doing monologues. Many films\, tv shows and commercials are asking kids to do monologues. Are your kids prepared? Actors should come with TWO 60/90 second monologues to work on. They should be memorized so we can dive right in and film them in class. Then you can bring home some great footage to share with your agents\, directors and for castings. \nAs for the PARENTS\, I will dedicate the second half of class (hour and a half) all to YOU! So bring your questions\, concerns\, kid’s resume\, headshots\, anything you want to talk about. I will go over casting sites\, how to manage your kiddos without overwhelming them\, and talk about the business of the business in the NW. This workshop will help these young actors perfect their comedic and dramatic monologues. Actors should come memorized and ready to dive into a “CALLBACK” and then the FILMING of the scene. Actors will go through the callback/audition simulation\, we will take a break and then I will pair actors up to FILM the scenes. As a teaching and working artist\, I think it is very important that young actors know the difference between the AUDITION process and the ON SET process.
