We are so excited that we have this new course to offer\, which will help you begin your acting journey on the right foot. We have offered Scene Study before\, of course\, but this new\, expanded course is built for students who have graduated from our Camera 1 course\, and for those who are beginner-intermediate actors. If you have any questions about this course\, please contact us. \n\nMore about the headshot: On the final day\, we will have a “headshot party” where actors come to the studio for a fun\, relaxed\, one-look headshot with David Hogan of Seattle Actor Photos (this is our sister business). During the course you will learn how to prep for your headshot session with David. Each session will last 20 minutes\, and you will receive one retouched headshot about one week after class ends (if not sooner!). \nIs this course for you?\n\nFor students age 18+\nFor beginner-intermediate levels (all students must have some training or experience)\nPerfect for students who have taken Camera 1\nGreat for those newer to self-taping\nEssential for actors who need a professional headshot\n\nInstructors \nDavid S. Hogan and Angela DiMarco are both working actors. Aside from teaching\, they also produce films and occasionally act as casting directors for independent film projects. They founded Mighty Tripod in 2012 to teach the craft of acting to PNW actors\, and so they could create their own work. \n\nAngela coined the phrase\, “Don’t Wait\, Create\,” while producing for the Seattle 48 Hour Film Project\, and she currently has a few films making their rounds on the festival circuit. \n \nDavid is also a headshot photographer\, and is often at the studio putting actors on tape for auditions and agency interviews. \n\nTheir passion for acting is matched by their commitment to helping uplift the talent and spirits of the PNW on-camera actor. \n

I truly believe that focusing more on scene study in this class has helped me to reach a new level of authenticity on film. It was a great blend of receiving acting and technical feedback. The great thing about the teachers is that students get very honest feedback that helps them improve a lot faster. They are also readily available for all questions in and outside of class and are incredibly helpful in providing advice about the industry. I very much appreciated my time in the class and feel that I have improved and learned a great deal. It is most definitely time well spent training in Camera 2.\n~ Rebecca Kim \n[divider_line type=”divider_line”] \n“Working with David and Tony in the Camera 2 class has been instrumental in re-framing how I approach my scene work and character development. They offered challenging alternate choices for given situations that gave me the freedom to continue to discover nuances and build higher stakes throughout the filming process\, take after take after take… I feel that I have left this class with more valuable tools than I anticipated and I’m eager to put them to use in my work moving forward. Also to work with these two again! Incredibly talented actors and directors with a solid eye for refining their students’ trouble spots.”\n~ Andi Norris \n[divider_line type=”divider_line”] \nThis dynamic\, 5 week course is for actors who: \n\nHave taken Camera 1.\nWho have some professional on-camera experience or professional training.\nWant to go deeper in their work.\nWant to learn how to be compelling in front of the camera.\nAre feeling stuck in their craft.\nNeed a confidence boost.\n\nOur class is taught by David S.
