We will also have them for sale for $10. \nWhat the Course Covers:\n  \nAuditioning.\nScene Study.\nMonologues for Camera.\nHow to Find Work in Seattle.\nThe Business of the Acting Business.\n\nTestimonial:\n“I’d been working in Seattle for the past four years with some success in both theater and film\, but I knew that there was more to learn that I just wasn’t getting “on the job.” Mighty Tripod’s class came recommended by Jodi Rothfield\, so knew it would be a good place to start. I went in thinking I needed to brush up on my camera technique; where to look\, how to stay in frame\, how to play to the camera\, etc. What I got was that and more: I’ve deepened my approach to acting\, both for the camera and for the stage. I’ve got a new set of tools I can use to prepare more fully for auditions and roles. And\, most importantly\, I’ve got a new sense of confidence that’s been making a big difference in real-world casting and on-set situations. I got so much out of the first class that I went on to take the next in the series\, and I plan to continue with Mighty Tripod’s ongoing classes and workshops.” – Marty Krouse \n[button link=”https://mightytripod.com/testimonials/” type=”big” color=”green” newwindow=”yes”] Read more testimonials![/button] \n\nThis dynamic course is for actors who are:\nNew to the world of acting.\nLooking to book more auditions.\nNeeding confidence in their work.\nLooking for new tools to add to their craft.\nExperienced in stage acting\, but new to on-camera acting.\nReady to learn more about how to get ahead in the Seattle industry.\nMEET THE INSTRUCTORS: \nDavid has been acting professionally in Seattle since 2000\, and his work is critically acclaimed (David is a three time winner of the Seattle Times Footlight Award for Stellar Acting – 2002\, 2009\, and 2012. I truly believe that focusing more on scene study in this class has helped me to reach a new level of authenticity on film. It was a great blend of receiving acting and technical feedback. The great thing about the teachers is that students get very honest feedback that helps them improve a lot faster. They are also readily available for all questions in and outside of class and are incredibly helpful in providing advice about the industry. I very much appreciated my time in the class and feel that I have improved and learned a great deal. It is most definitely time well spent training in Camera 2.\n~ Rebecca Kim \n[divider_line type=”divider_line”] \n“Working with David and Tony in the Camera 2 class has been instrumental in re-framing how I approach my scene work and character development. They offered challenging alternate choices for given situations that gave me the freedom to continue to discover nuances and build higher stakes throughout the filming process\, take after take after take… I feel that I have left this class with more valuable tools than I anticipated and I’m eager to put them to use in my work moving forward.
