What This Course Covers

Building on lessons learned in Camera 1 and 2, Camera 3 gives students the chance to work on multiple scenes during the 8-weeks. By the end of the course, students should feel prepared to tackle almost any type of role in the real world of the Entertainment Business. Commercial scene work is not incorporated into the curriculum, but one week will be dedicated to Corporate/Industrial scene work, as that kind of assignment comes with its own set of challenges.

Quick Course Breakdown

Week 1: Advanced On-Camera Auditioning Work (Scene #1)
Week 2: Scene #2 Analysis, Rehearsal, & Blocking
Week 3: Scene #2 Filming & On-Set Simulation
Week 4: Corporate Script Analysis & Performance
Week 5: Scene #3 Filming & Reviewing
Week 6: Film Study, Technique Training

In week 2, students will learn how to break down their assigned script, and create a compelling character for performance in week 3.

In week 4, students will learn how to interpret and perform in scripted scene for corporate videos.

In week 5 we will film scenes, then review the work.

In week 6, we will study performances from film & TV, diving into critique and praise of various genres. We will also continue technique training.

In weeks 7, students will learn how to break down their assigned script, and create a compelling character for performance in week 8.
