Camera 2 is a Level One course for actors age 16+ who have some training. If you have taken Camera 1 with us, this will likely be a good fit for you. If you have taken an intro acting class (or similar) elsewhere, Camera 2 will also be a good fit for you. As always, if you have any questions for us, please call or text. We are always happy to chat with you about our studio and services.
Actors who enroll are expected to attend every class meeting, as we will be doing pertner work in each session. Obviously if you are sick or have an emergency, you will be excused from class, but if you have schedule conflicts with our class dates, please enroll the next time we offer Camera 2.

Learn How to Study a Script & Develop a Character
Building on lessons learned in Camera 1, this course will teach you more about breaking down scripts so you can make bold and appropriate performance choices. This course will put students on their feet and into scene work and partnership with classmates. Students will work on multiple scripts, and learn how to create truthful and emotional moments with scene partners.
Class work and exercises will help students break though self-consciousness barriers, allowing for more comfort in front of an audience, and in front of the camera.
Camera 2, like all of our courses with scene work, are limited to an enrollment of 8, and everyone will get a chance to work in each session.
Filming occurs during week 3 and week 5, and clips are made available for review, reflection, and continued learning. Class clips are not intended for actor demo reels.
In week 6, you will get to create a professional quality performance clip that will showcase your talent and help you land more auditions. In Camera 1 we film monologues for clips, in this course, scene work is filmed for clips.
